Frequently Asked Questions
What do I wear?
Shoes that will stay on your feet is a good idea. No
flip-flops, sandals, etc… Other than that wear whatever is
comfortable in the beginning. When you advance in your dancing
then it will become more important to wear more appropriate,
dance friendly shoes. Your teacher will let you know when the
time comes, but for now keep it casual and have fun.
Do I need a partner?
Absolutely not. As a matter of fact, one on one attention
will always work quicker for you than one on two attention. Just
because he/she isn’t ready to learn is no reason to let that
stop you from doing something you really want to do. You will be
able to learn how to become a terrific dancer on your private
lessons and won’t miss out on dancing with others by attending
our group dance classes.
How long are the lessons?
Your introductory lesson will be 30 minutes long. After
that all of your lessons will be 45 minutes long.
